I had this idea in my head last night while pondering over why my laptop just kicked the bucket.

What would an unborn Sangheili look like? I know this doesn't have the same sort of foetal charm that human foetuses have but I like how it turned out anyway. I know the head is pretty large, but that's how developing lives are... unless Elites are more special than I thought...

Anyway, this one is under glass in some sort of growing tube, possibly in a Covenant breeding center or laboratory. It was a surprisingly quick piece of work too... I'm just stoked that it looks so... cute..?

Hee, yeah I always liked the idea that they had tails and had them docked if they became part of the warrior class of Elites.

It makes since. I mean if it got in the way of completing missions or something, I could see why they would decide to dock their tails

Tails could still work canonically, it was just never implemented.
Males have tails docked at birth to keep it out of the way when in battle, females keep their tails as they do not have to fight and it -could- act as stability when performing daily tasks such as picking food on Sangheilios, or just for aesthetics.

And what site/book did you read this?

Back on HBO I believe, might have been attached to a fan art or something but I read it and it kinda made sense to me so I kept it all in my own Halo fictions.

I love this piece, I might have commented on it before, but better twice than never, right. :)

I really love the cuteness and the idea with the tail and how it's keeping its legs and paws close together. Just epic aweomeness. :D
