actually i know quite a few artists whose sketches are a lot better than their polished final versions of pictures. sketches often present a greater freedom od line, loose strokes that convey a sense of motion or emotion that the finished works lack.
i also support sketches because i myself hardly ever draw anything more XD PLUS even if i finish and polish a drawing i still often don't feel like inking or colouring it for fear of spoiling a good sketch. because i often spot such mishaps in other people's works.
